In one week, Mobile World Congress 2019 kicks off in Barcelona.

Taking place between 25 and 28 of February, MWC Barcelona is the biggest mobile event in the world, bringing together the latest innovations and leading-edge technology from more than 2,400 leading companies, with a highly-rated conference programme assembling today’s visionaries to explore the hottest topics influencing the industry.

The event also features extensive learning opportunities from dozens of partner-led programmes, GSMA seminars, summits and more.

Hailed as the world’s leading and largest event in the mobile calendar, Mobile World Congress is expected to attract more than 100,000 industry professionals and joining the throng will Tomas Piktozis, Vice President at appScatter and Priori Data.

It promises to be a packed few days for Tomas, who will be on the ground catching up with clients and showcasing Priori Data’s powerful data-driven solutions to other delegates.

The event has branched out from pure mobile developments to showcase all manner of future tech - IoT, drones and even a a dedicated zone for driverless cars!

The event does have a heavy concentration on developments in mobile phone technology, though. Under fire Huawei and Korean giant Samsung are some of the companies set to debut folding phones, the latest innovation to shake up the handset sector.

In the infrastructure field, the much-heralded arrival of 5G will be the focus of many conversations on the show floor. The super-fast successor to 4G is reportedly still well behind schedule in most developed cities, but that’s not stopping the big manufacturers embracing the potential.

If you’re in the Catalan capital attending MWC and would like to learn how our products and services can help you grow your mobile business, contact us to make an appointment with Tomas at the Fira Gran Via.

We’re looking forward to seeing you in Barcelona!
